How do we anodise and mix colors during sampling?

One thing we often explain to customers is color matching on anodized aluminum carabiners.

Some our customers send us fabric samples and ask if we can make the carabiner exactly the same color.
We always try our best, cause anodizing aluminum is very different from dyeing fabric.

Our carabiners are colored through anodizing.
The dye has to be adjusted manually in the Dye vat before coloring, based on either a physical sample or a Pantone reference.

Because aluminum material, surface condition, and anodizing reaction can all affect the final result, it’s difficult to make every batch 100% identical.
What we can do is follow the approved sample as closely as possible and keep the color consistency stable from batch to batch.

That’s also why, if there’s no physical sample available, we usually recommend customers provide a Pantone color code instead.
It helps us communicate more clearly and achieve a more accurate result.

It’s about explaining the process honestly, understanding the limitations of the material, and finding the best solution together.
